The Blasted Proposal

For those of you who know that I am in grad school probably know that it requires that I write a thesis. (This is the reason I almost didn't go to grad school). I am not to ecxited about this thesis and I am really struggling to find motivation to work on it. Last semester I did so good but since finals I have not been able to do it. I go home and lay around, waste time, (watch TV and I never watc h TV) but I never work on it. I think I am a little burnt out. Hopefully I fix the problem soon because I need to propse my thesis sometime in February. Yikes!!!

My favorite brother visits

Sam came to visit this weekend and it was really fun to hang out with him and Dan. We had a great time. I just want to publicly announce that I do not have a favorite brother, despite rumors travelling in my family. (apparently Ben thinks Sam is my favorite.) To that I say Dan must be my favorite because he is the one I spend the most money on because we live so close together. In reality I love all of my brothers for different reasons, but I love spending time with them and hanging out woth them. They always make me laugh and sometimes they even make me cry.

I am getting old!!!

So back in my younger days I would play basketball four to five times a week for three hours at a time and never be sore. I thought it was great and I loved doing it. Well this week I played basketball three days for about an hour each day and I could barely walk Friday night, in my defense I was knocked over Friday while playing and my knee was really bruised and swollen. It was horrible. I am definitely feeling my age when I try to compete in sports. I am fine when I am doing individual sports but team sports where there is contact are killer.

My Blog Name

So I had to change my blog name because apparently my brother Daniel has had a blog for a while and he felt like I copied his name. Which it was similar but it was completely unintentional. That is why the name has changed. I am not set on this name but I feel less creative these days so if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear about them.

The colors on my Blog

So you might wonder why I choose the colors I did for this blog. Well I will tell you, I bought a mountain bike last week and it is white, brown and pink. It is a loveley bike (I biked 10 miles Saturday since the sun was out and there was not snow on the road). I added blue because I wanted to. I would post a picture of my new bike but it is dark in the basement where it calls home and I don't think you would be able to trully appreciate its beauty. It rests next to my pink and white road bike (mostly pink as you can see in the above picture). I think I have an obsession with pink toys because my brothers hate it!!!
