I have wanted a Cotopaxi backpack forever. They do a Questival race each year and if you sign up for the race (pay $40) you get to pick out a pack. The race is a scavenger hunt around Utah. Hannah Pena (Taylor) and I did it together. When race day got here I kind of had a grumpy attitude about doing the race, mainly because I was so tired. I am so glad we did it. It was so fun!
It started up in Salt Lake. There were over 400 activities to choose from and really you do as many as you can. We did tons of stuff in Salt Lake Friday. We walked over 8 miles in 4 hours. Then on Saturday we did a bunch of Utah county stuff. It was awesome!
Here are a few of the things we did . . . . .
Take a picture in a garden
Take a picture at one of the oldest restaurants in Salt Lake
Hike Ensigns Peak
Eat dessert in a deserted ally
The pictures above are all from Salt Lake. We did so many other things there as well. We ran all pver the city. It was fun and crazy.
Saturday we stuck to Provo . . . .
Donated food at a food bank
Donated blood with Dracula teeth on (who comes up with this stuff)
Donated clothes
Bought random people their drinks
Eat at Evens Stevens
Hike Stewart Falls
Som of the other things we did Saturday that were really fun were . . . mowed Mrs. Schlossers lawn (our co-worker), did a co-workers dishes, I called my high school basketball coach (Mr. Anderson) and thanked him. It was a really cool event. Saturday was fun because we focused on the Do Good items. It was great.
The event started Friday at 7 and went until Saturday at 6pm. We finished Stewart Falls at 6pm. We were exhausted but seriously had so much fun!
