We rented a cabin up in the Timber Lakes for two nights. This made it easy to all hang out. The cabin was huge and had beds for everyone. It was awesome! We played lots of games, ate tons of food, and did lots of visiting. It was also a little bit cooler up in the mountains so that was an added bonus.
Olivia and Braxton came with me. We stopped and played at a splash pad and park on our way up to the cabin. We had some time to spare and so we burnt off some energy that way. Moki and I watched from the shade.
Then we stopped in Heber to get shakes at Granny's. They were delicious!
I don't have very many pictures from the cabin. It was fun and everyone was there.
Highlights at the cabin were:
- mornin run with Jacklyn and Aaron
- Being able to sit outside and visit
- The fun tree swing
- Biking up the canyon
- walks with the kids
- All the kids learning Exploding Kittens, and playing non stop
- everyone having beds to sleep in
- everyone was off their normal schedule so we could all relax and visit
It was a great little break. I really liked that everyone took work off for these two days so we could actually visit and hang out. It is also nice to be in a neutral location. It was a fun couple days.
