It was so nice to see all the Browns. Days where we all get together really make you feel the absence of my Dad. He would have loved to have been there with all his family and kids. He loved to visit and play games. I hate that he isn't here with us.
Janice and Lou reserved the scout hall in Willits for our party. It was awesome. There was plenty of room for everyone and it is located in a park. That meant the kids could run and play as much as they wanted. The weather was nice which was a bonus. We set up pickleball outside and had food and games inside. It was an awesome day!
The ladies played their game of Hand and Foot
The kids had a riot with the pinata
Katelyn and Emerson went to town with the gingerbread stuff. They enjoyed unsupervised time with lots of candy.
I would say it was the perfect day. We had so much fun. The weather, the venue, the company were all perfect. I hadn't seen Ty, Allison and Autumn since they moved to New Hampshire, which was a few years ago. It was great to see them.
The only terrible thing that happened was soooooooo many people got sick. Monday on Facebook multiple family members said they had thrown up. It seems that people in my family must have still been carrying whatever Emerson had and passed it off to almost everyone. It was an awful ending to such a good party. Seriously the worst outcome. Thankfully as of today Olivia still hasn't gotten sick. She must remain healthy. I think it was a 24 hour thing for the most part but it is just a bummer that such a fun day had such a terrible twist. Love this Brown family of mine!
