Anthony Got Married

Anthony got married and we had the best week with family and friends. He and Brooke got married on a Wednesday, who does that? The fun started the Sunday before. Aaron, Jacklyn and Tyla got to town as well as my mom. We celebrated with a yummy Sunday dinner at Loralie's house. It is always so much fun to have family in town. We ate lots of yummy food and then visited. Aaron, Jacklyn and Tyla stayed at my house. YAY! I love hosting people and getting extra time with those I love. Monday I had a pretty normal day. Exercise and work. I did sneak in a break from work and went to lunch with Aaron, Jacklyn and Tyla. I spent the evening getting a few things for the wedding.

Tuesday morning I hiked with the Carter's and worked all day. After work Hannah Taylor came with me to pick up flowers from Trader Joe's. I needed to make centerpieces for the luncheon tables. She helped me find some beautiful hydrangeas. Then I picked up Summit and headed to Loralie's house. My mom, Loralie, Nancy, Anthony and myself spent some time cutting up all the food for the luncheon. It actually went really quick which was nice. Then we tackled the center pieces. They center pieces turned out great!

While we were working people started to show up. Dan, Caleb and Aaron were all grilling meat for the luncheon. Anthony had done that all day too. They all made it to Loralie's as well as Ben and Katie's family and Aunt Janice and Uncle Lou. It was a party. There was a lot of excitement as everyone started to show up. Oh and Sam and Amanda and crew also came over. We hung out and visited until 9pm when we could head to the church and set up the luncheon. All my siblings and their kids helped set up the church. It went really quick which was so nice. It was a simple yet beautiful set up. We had the flowers and one picture frame on each table. The picture frame was two sided. One side we put a picture of Anthony and Brooke while dating. On the other side we put a picture of Anthony posing, usually with no shirt. The pictures were a fun surprise for Anthony when he got to the luncheon on his wedding day:) Brooke loved the pictures so that was good.

Wednesday was a really nice and great day. I woke up early so started the morning with a 3 mile hike. Then I showered and got ready. The sealing was at 11am in the Draper temple. It was so fun to greet Anthony, Brooke, family and friends at the temple that morning. The ceremony was really nice. Then we just got to celebrate and we really did have a great day. Here are some of the pictures Caleb took. He does such a great job and his photos turned out amazing. Love these kids so much!

I took some less professional looking pictures with my phone:)

The little girl dresses were the absolute best for twirling. It was so magical!

No one told us Brooke and Anthony were coming out of the temple and so that was very anti-climatic . . . bummer. Good thing everything else about the day was perfect!

Selfie with the groom

It was pure magic just having everyone together. Caleb got a great shot of each family at the temple.

The temple was beautiful and it was so good just having all our family there.

The luncheon ended up being really nice. We had plenty of food. Everyone told a story about Anthony and Brooke, well everyone in their families. It was great. The clean up was super easy.

After all our family went to Leatherby's. Ben and Katie's family loves it. It was fun to just chill and have ice cream before the reception. Jesse and Kriss Ricord and family joined us. We used their church building for the luncheon which was a huge help.
